Boulder, CO currently offers two no-cost support groups to those struggling with screen overuse issues. Problematic Internet Technology Facilitated (PITF) Support Group occurs each Monday from 4:30-5:30. This group is facilitated by a member of our team who is knowledgeable in digital media issues. Members receive education and are encouraged to engage in discussion about their challenges and successes. Those 15 and older are encouraged to attend. Parents are welcome with their child. This group occurs at 2299 Pearl Street, Suite 310, Boulder.
The University of Colorado at Boulder’s Collegiate Recovery Center (CRC) offers a peer-led support group, Gaming Technology Addiction Recovery (GTAR), formerly known as ITAA (Internet Technology Addiction Anonymous). This group occurs each Thursday from 6-7 pm.
Both groups primary goal is to cultivate a balanced lifestyle.
